Following on from their magical ceremony by a waterfall Dan and Charlotte travelled to an equally beautiful place for the second day of their Welsh Wedding Jamboree.
Surrounded by Welsh hills and an unbroken circle of their friends and family their marriage was sealed in a pagan handfasting, under bright blue skies. I will never forget how happy everyone was, how amazing it was to wake to such glorious sunshine amid a week of drizzle and high winds (especially lucky when your blessing is to take place outside!), and I will never forget the cheers and whoops of joy as Dan and Charlotte jumped the broom together. The reception was held in a giant tipi, full of raucous laughter and dancing that went on until the wee hours. Having chosen the date especially to coincide with the Harvest Moon it was oh so fitting to see them dance together to the song of the same name, by Neil Young, as outside the biggest, brightest full moon fiercely illuminated the night sky. What a day. What a wedding. What an absolute pleasure and a privilege to have been part of it.
