One afternoon back in August I met Pete and Ann, whose wedding I’m photographing next year, to take some pictures of them now, just as they are. We roamed around some gardens, giggled and then grew quiet in the green shade of the woods, and then… well, then we borrowed a barn.
I learnt that hay is not the same thing as straw, that you can find the perfect gap in the edge of a cornfield, and that Pete and Ann make each other laugh. A lot. They are also clearly and completely crazy about each other.
A big thank you to Pete and to Ann, for giving me the giggles too, and for trusting me, even when it involved mud and brambles and a field of nosy cows.
