Chris and Debbie are party throwers of the highest calibre, and this totally relaxed and fun celebration was no exception. It really doesn’t get much better than watching best friends marry each other. Especially with their little girl Patti watching on. I’ll never forget how much love filled that old school hall, or how out of breath I was from shooting the crazy ceilidh knees-up in the barn that followed (partly from laughing so bloody hard).
A lot of thought and planning had gone on and it was brilliant to see Chris + Debbie’s stamp all over the day – from the mismatched chairs to the beautiful flowers that Debbie and her gran did themselves the day before. So although I’m sure this lot could have had just as much fun in a bare tin shed, Pimhill Barn was made to look and feel especially magical thanks to family and friends and some really tall ladders.
Days like these make me feel incredibly grateful. I’m so lucky to be able to call these people my friends and I’m really proud I was able to document these moments. Picking out favourites was easy… keeping them to a blog-friendly number was not. This is the short version!
